Speaking at Affiliate Summit West 2009

It will be my privilege to speak at the Affiliate Summit West 2009 (which is taking place on 11-13 January 2009 in Las Vegas, NV) where Heather Paulson and myself will bring you a dual presentation on advanced techniques, strategies and ideas for affiliate recrutment, training and management.

My part of the presentation will be on the contingency approach to the affiliate program management. It is no secret that present day affiliate management is frequently de-theorized. But it doesn’t have to stay this way! In my presentation I will look into situational theories, and propose implementation solutions of contingency approaches to the benefit of affiliate training and program management. Heather, on the other hand, will touch upon the strategies of affiliate recruitment, and will also speak on the advanced media types such as affiliate video network integration, dynamic landing pages for affiliates and getting around banner blocking issues. It will be fun and enlightening session that we hope you will mark on calendar to attend.

If you are attending the conference, I would love to see you in our session on Day 1 of the Summit.

You may also find me at the Affiliate Meet Market on the same day (11 January). I will be at Table #88. Come shake my hand.

  2. Geno,

It was indeed a pleasure to listen to your presentation. As a merchant I got more then I expected going in to your presentation. I really loved the fact you made it simple for your audience and dissected the entire process in to small pieces for us to understand.

Keep up the great work! I am confident with your guidance and input, we will be able to raise to the next level.

    Keep it up.

  3. Thank you, Ashish. I am glad you have found the presentation of interest; and, beyond everything, I hope you will find the knowledge of practical use.

  4. Hey Geno – I wanted to thank you for presenting such an insightful presentation at the summit. I particularly liked your style of presenting which was very direct and simple for newbies and experienced industry members.

Keep up the good work and I will be looking forward to attending more of your sessions at future conferences.

    All the best!

  5. Kunal,

I appreciate your kind and encouraging words. Great you’ve found the “style of presenting” appealing. Frankly, I wasn’t sure how good I could be on a day when you have to wake up at 3:00 am ET (which was midnight PT), drive for a total of some 2 hours, and spend over 7 hours in the air. 🙂

So, in light of the above, I am especially happy to hear/read what you said/wrote.

Thanks again, and see you again at future Affiliate Summits (and other conferences). I’ll make sure you learn new and immediately applicable stuff.

    Geno

  6. Will you be speaking at Affiliate Summit 2009 East, Geno?

Also, do you have the audio to your Power Point presentation?

I would love to hear it.
