7 Funny Pictures from Affiliate Summit West 2011

Yesterday Shawn Collins uploaded hundreds of great Affiliate Summit West 2011 pictures to Flickr [which, by the way, prompted me to finally get a Flickr page of my own]. I’ve looked through many of them, and picked 7 that just must have stories behind them! Maybe they don’t, but they definitely look like they should. 🙂

Here’s one, for example (note the comments under it):

And here are the other six:

What is going on?!

Performance-based model at work?

Singing?

Dancing?

Whistling?

And hypnosis again… [or maybe not]

If you spot any other funny ones, please post links to them in the “Comments” are below.

  1. You are absolutely right! I do look like I am whistling! How crazy is that? Now I’m going to have to watch the video when it comes out to see what I was so intense about.

And I love that Michael Coley is going against the grain in that second picture.

    1. Glad you’ve enjoyed my picks, Logan

Re the first picture: my wife had a different version of the story. She said it looks like Jim and I have just had a fight with Marty. We’re now pissed, while doesn’t even want to look our way…

  2. These are great. I think the second one is going to go viral – Michael’s showing the true spirit of affiliate marketers – I won’t do what everyone else is doing – independent!

  3. Great first photo. That’s the perfect image of a dysfunctional family.

I’m sorry I missed the evangelical revival in the second photo. May souls must have been saved that day.

Oh wait, was I supposed to say, “I agree”, “great idea”?

  4. Tom, Greg, thank you for chiming in. LOL re “seminar to teach people how to clap” and “the perfect image of a dysfunctional family”. 🙂

  6. Everyone else fell for it and gave Drew Eric Whitman a standing ovation before he got started. I prefer to wait until after the keynote and give one if it’s deserved. (It was.)

    1. Now we know the full story behind the picture! I concur with your approach, Michael. You won’t see me in “a standing ovation” in the picture either. I didn’t even get up (I was changing lenses on my camera, but…) 🙂
