Google Launches Affiliate Ads Tool for Blogger

A couple of hours ago Google uploaded a YouTube video where Ali Pasha, a Product Manager for Google Affiliate Network (GAN) — who a month ago spoke at the first-ever AM Days conference — has announced a new tool, Google Affiliate Ads for Blogger. Ali said:

Your blog is a place for you to share your passions with the world… a hobby, a sport, or even your favorite products. We believe your recommendation matters; and now when you blog about a product you can earn money through… Google Affiliate Ads for Blogger… a simple way for you to create ads for products you want your reader to know about.

When a reader clicks on an ad, and makes a purchase, you can earn a commission.

Here’s the full video:

Accompanying GAN post on it may also be found here. I am only surprised it took them so long (Google acquired Blogger in early 2003 [more here], and in April 2007 they already had their own affiliate network [details here]).

  2. Hello Geno. I am Gena (Evgenia) as well 🙂 I am pretty new to the affiliate marketing world as I just promoted to this department by my employer. The first week on this job I was handed your book and was told to read it. Through it I discovered your blog and have been reading it for a couple of days. You are doing an awesome job, making it all so easy and interesting to learn and understand. I also have a small blog of mine, and just signed up for the GAN after came across this post. I’ll see how that works out for me and thank you!
