I couldn’t help but recall the numerous questions continuously posted by affiliates in forums, blogs, Twitter, and sent to me by email… The gist of these questions boils down to one thing: the secret to becoming a successful affiliate. By “successful” they all imply “happy with what you’re doing, because you’re making enough money to afford anything you want.”
The first American billionaire had summarized the recipe for us all: “find what interests you and what you can do well” (read: identify what you’re passionate and knowledgeable about, as well as what you’re skilled at), and go for it with “every bit of energy and ambition and natural ability you have”!
When it comes to affiliate marketing, one must be added to the above: do not expect immediate results, but if you are patient and persistent, they will definitely follow. As a super affiliate I know once told me: “It took me three and a half years to get my first real affiliate check.” His perseverance paid off, and he is now making money as one of the world’s top influencers in his space. You can do the same too.
