Quite a number of people have contacted me after the following tweet by Alicia Navarro:
Thank you for your calls and emails. My car was indeed hit in downdown San Francisco (while on my recent West Coast visit), and the guy that hit me just ran off, nearly running over me (as I already stepped out of the vehicle to inspect how bad the damage from the hit was). It wasn’t anything bad though. So, I’m all fine.
On the way back I spotted this road sign a few blocks down the street on which my car got hit:
“With road signs like these, no wonder why this has happened to me” — I chuckled.
